With ordinary love goes hate. I love this. I hate that. Today I love you, next week…. next hour… or next minute, I hate you. He (or she) who can really LOVE can BE; she (or he) who can really BE, can DO, he who can DO, IS.
To know about real LOVE one must forget all about love and must look for direction. We love because something in ourselves combines with all the other emanantions? from the instinctive center, the emotional center or the intellectual center; or it may be from influences of external form; or from feelings….
I love you because you love me, OR…. because you don’t love me; suggestions of others—sense of superiority….. from pity….. and for many other reasons, subjective and egotistic.
We allow ourselves to be influenced.
Everything attracts or repels.
THEN…. Later….
There is the love of sex which is ordinarily known as “love” between men and women—when this disappears a man and a woman no longer “love” each other. There is love of feeling which evokes the opposite and makes people suffer.
Later when we have more time we will talk about CONSCIOUS LOVE…..
